Bankruptcy attorneys attending the 44th Annual Seminar of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees will get a firsthand experience in educational courses and housing counseling services.

Bankruptcy attorneys attending the 44th Annual Seminar of the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees will get a firsthand experience in educational courses and housing counseling services.

The seminar, conducted by InCharge Debt Solutions, will serve as a useful resource for anyone in search of a reliable source for quality bankruptcy information.

"The June 2011 numbers from the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) show that Americans are beginning to get their debts under control, but the bankruptcy filings are still very high," said Beth Mason, InCharge's Director of Outreach Programs for Bankruptcy Services. "The latest ABI reports show that 28 percent of bankruptcies are Chapter 13 filings, and we feel it is important to be at the NACTT seminar to gain a better understanding of the vital work being done by the Trustees."

InCharge Debt Solutions is a nonprofit organization that specializes in personal finance education, credit counseling and a variety of bankruptcy services.

Chapter 13 bankruptcy law differs from the other commonly filed consumer bankruptcy, Chapter 7, in that it is a reorganization plan that allows the debtor to keep his or her assets and reform a payment plan that appeases creditors and the bankruptcy court.
