Time Matters

Today is a start of a new week. Most Paralegals will be in training for a new system that is supposed allow us to assist our Chapter 13 and Chapter 7 clients more efficiently. I support Time matters and really feel that it will be efficient and allow paralegals more time to attend to their clients’ needs and questions. The problem that we run into is we are having some difficulties with the new system. As of now, I only use it to create notes and produce certain documents. Today in training I will ask for some clarification on items, so I can take full advantage of this system. I want to know how it works inside and out. The training will make the transition to Time matters much smoother.

This process of learning, as seen in my case, is also very evident in the situations that clients are put in when filing bankruptcy. They are put into situations that cause them to file bankruptcy, but they are not educated on how the process works. They need the training to understand the ins and outs of things. That is why there are paralegals and attorney’s here to assist them with any questions that they may have about their process.

I go into shock when I hear a client state that they don’t know what is going on and they don’t know the process. It is like a blind person not knowing where exactly he is. As a paralegal, I feel that it is my job to help them see and understand every step of the way and make them feel as comfortable as possible.

I look forward to moving into the future with this great product, Time Matters, because it will allow me to fulfill the needs of my clients and hope to learn more to help them with things that may not be related to their bankruptcy after they have completed it.
