Don’t wait too long to file Chapter 7
As we get older, and we have let old debts just hang around. They have hung around for a reason, either you inherit money or in a bad place you die. If you die and there is an estate of home or life insurance the creditors will fight for it. The creditors know what they are doing by adding interest and penalties they are going to increase the amount so if you try to settle they will still get what you owed in the beginning.
Filing a bankruptcy before these thing happen will make your life go easier. Every one seems to think that the debts will fall off after 7 years, no only the good things fall off.
By filing a chapter 7 you are discharging the debts so that it will fall off and can not come back after your spouse or any of your children that are trying to inherit your estate.
