Documents to prepare paperwork for filing
There is so much paperwork that is needed to get a case filed. For this reason we have an appointment for our Debtors to come in and go over the paperwork to ensure we have everything we need. It is wonderful when the Debtors actually understand that we need all of this paperwork and bring it all to their bring back appointment. There are many times than not that we have to set them a document drop appointment to make sure we have all the documents so we can file the case.
This week has been a successful week with Debtors bringing all their paperwork. It makes my job a lot easier and it makes it easier to input their information as well. I wished that every one understood this, and then our job would be a little easier. When the client comes in for their initial consultation, the person who sees them should explain the importance of getting the paperwork together for their appointment to get their case filed. I feel that we run around here sometimes with our head cut off trying to get these files together.
