It doesn’t matter if you are filing a chapter 7 or a chapter 13 case, it is very important to understand every detail possible to ensure you know what you need to do and what you should expect going through a process that seems so intimidating. Anytime you have a question you should call your attorney and ask. They will not make you feel stupid for asking a question. That is why they are here, is to help you better understand what is going on and understand the laws. If you knew everything you wouldn’t have hired them to begin with and would have taken care of filing your own case. Just remember, slow down, don’t be intimidated by all of the stuff that goes into filing a case and make sure you understand everything you need to feel comfortable that you are making the right decision.
