Varieties of people come in to our office and are scared about the situation that they are in. They are about to lose their car or their house. They don’t know what to do, they come to our office and explain to them that they have a solution and it is to file bankruptcy. The other day there was a lady that came in, she didn’t want to file bankruptcy unless she was absolutely sure that we could help her save her home. After some investigation we were able to find that her house had been foreclosed on. My question is, how do you not know that you have already lost your home? She couldn’t remember receiving anything from the mortgage company giving her notice that they are proceeding with foreclosure. We found out that it had been foreclosed in August and the lady had been in Las Vegas living it up while she lost her home. If she would have paid closer attention to what was going on in life, her life, we would have been able to help her save her home and she wouldn’t have lost it.
