Creditor Harrassment

Once you come into our office and pay us a retainer fee you can start referring creditors to our creditor hot line. Some times this does not always stop creditors from calling and you begin to receive nasty threatening calls. What you do from this point forward is to take their name and their number and make them aware that your attorney’s office will be contacting them to give them the information they need. Once we call them to give them all of this information, the calls should stop coming in and you should be able to relax. It would be a good idea to start a journal of when they call, time and date, who called and who they represent, so in the event after filing, if needed, we could pursue further. Contact your attorney’s office if you have any problems with this occurring and they will be able to assist you.
