Bankruptcy and Foreclosure Tuesday
Foreclosure Tuesday is the first Tuesday of the month in the state of Texas. Today was a great day, because we were able to save three peoples houses that were up for foreclosure that waited till the last minute to come in and file to save their homes. Having your house up for foreclosure is nerve racking, because you don’t know if you are going to be able to stay at your home or if you are going to have to move. People who don’t know that they have bankruptcy as an option are the ones who lose their home or are the ones who wait till the last minute. I had a lady today that was really stressing about getting in and filing her petition pages to stop the foreclosure on her house. She was so worried and concerned that she was going to lose her house. Fortunate enough, she made it and her case was filed and her house was saved. There are so many people who are going through a rough, up and down hill, time they can’t find any other solution to help them get back on track, but bankruptcy. You do what you need to do to live and survive and if that means filing for bankruptcy, then so be it. There is nothing to be ashamed about and you would be surprised that you don’t even know that your neighbor has filed for bankruptcy.
