Divorce: a reason to file bankruptcy
The number one reason people file a bankruptcy is because of a divorce. With the divorce now there are two homes and bills. Day care might be needed. Cars may have to be surrender because of not being able to afford and the divorce decree will not protect you if the other spouse was to pay that debt and doesn’t. After filing the bankruptcy then what ever the other spouse does or doesn’t do, then it will not hurt you. Once you file then your credit will be base only on what you do after the filing. Having a divorce as the reason you file for most creditor is a good reason and will help you rebuild based on your job history and income.
