Filed Bankruptcy but Budget Still Over-extended?
Filing bankruptcy will benefit you if you are willing to change the poor spending habits which led to your bankruptcy filing. Yes, the bankruptcy may discharge all or most of your unsecured credit card debt however charging up more credit card debt after your bankruptcy is discharged will put you back to square one.
You are provided two (2) credit counseling courses that should give you a better understanding of how to better prepare you monthly budget. You should be able to budget for a saving account which can be used for expenses not in your primary monthly budget so you don’t feel compelled to use a credit card. If it is necessary to use credit card then never charge more than you can pay off within 30 days.
