Sometimes people wait too late when they decide to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy when they have already been rendered a judgment against them. If you decide to file for a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, then you really have nothing to worry about, even if they decide to file a judgment against you. When you completely pay the bankruptcy attorney fees in full and you file your chapter 7 bankruptcy, then the chapter 7 bankruptcy will take care of any judgment that has been rendered against you. The only difference is that a judgment will stay on your credit for as long as the chapter 7 bankruptcy does. This only means that when you pull your credit report, it will reflect a judgment on their for up to ten years, just like the bankruptcy; however, the creditor can not collect this debt from you when you have successfully completed a chapter 7 bankruptcy.
